The gang is getting back together for another exciting, action packed trip in support of Down Syndrome Australia. Over the weekend of 4th to 6th October we, along with quite a few other like-minded people will be descending on the small township of Candelo.
This year the tactical magicians have provided us with the challenge of navigating, in our own special way, to Candelo in the southern part of New South Wales.
The quickest, and possibly the shortest road distance of 978 Kilometres, according to Google Maps, from our start point in Bingara, in the New England Tablelands region of New South Wales.
By now I am sure everyone knows the Bingara Scrappers don’t do, “Easy or Quick” if we can skirt around it.
You will just have to log on and check back with us from time to time for the website updates. Of course you will have to give us a little bit of leeway on updates, as we prefer to be in places that might not be the best choice for internet upload options.
There will be a mix of faster sealed roads, slower and dustier gravel roads and maybe even some wheel and leg wetting creek crossings in our non-haste to get to our destination.
You will just have to wait and see. We can promise you though, it will be fun and games along the way… as usual.
We look forward to the start date.
